Firefox Add-ons Site
Anyone out in these here tubes that knows what the Firefox Add-ons Site is powered by?
If not, anyone know a contact email for someone at Mozilla that might have knowledge on this?
And I wonder if anyone over there has noticed that the developers login, link from the bottom of the page still has the old UI?
what do you mean by ‘powered by’?
if you talking about the server then netcraft will help
Joe,
I’m talking about what software it’s powered on, (e.g. a PHP program).
its likely to be a whole cocktail of serverside languages.
Just taking a quick gander at the page source for the add-ons front page, there’s javascript and php references. But as tony stated above, it’s probably a mix of SSL’s with javascript.
Yeh, but I want to see the source
Hey Ryan
I came here looking for the DefaultMyFPP thingie you’d created, and when I saw this post, I thought I should reply!
I had made a request over at the usenet group for the exact same thing.

And I did get a replied, it is all open source and you can see it at:

Instructions for getting it via CVS: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Mozilla_Source_Code_Via_CVS
Cool, thanks GreyArea!
BTW, DefaultMyFFP is available from the DefaultMyFFP page on the portables site.
