As you may have noticed, I’ve changed the site yet again. Seeing as it’s the end of the year, I figured that my blog should be rejuvenated again, as a (late) Christmas present from me to it. So, server, Merry Christmas!

The blog has been completely refreshed with a new theme from plaintxt.org called Simplr. This enables me much more flexibility in doing things, including the galleries, as I hadn’t bothered to update my previous theme in a long time. Hopefully, it will also allow threaded comments in the future

The home page is now much more like what I want, as it shows my current projects and several forms of contact (please don’t spam me! ). I originally also had a “famous people” section on there with links to all the people that I wanted to give a shout out to, but there were way too many names to be able to keep track of them all. For that, I apologise to everyone who should have been on that list, but you’ll just have to live with it.

I’ve also finally added a link to my Code section, which I’ll also be changing around a bit. In the mean time, enjoy the directory listing and lack of integration with the rest of the site. There are more things on the site other than that which I have to fix up, including the asides styling. I’ll also be syndicating my Twitter posts (no replies though) over to here in the form of blog posts, with a little help from Alex King’s Twitter Tools plugin.

I haven’t yet mentioned any where what to do if you wish to hire me for work, for a few good reasons, the first and foremost being that I don’t have much time to take on that many projects at the moment. I’m currently doing a small amount of work as a freelancer on outsourced jobs, but only where I know I can trust the original person. That said, I’m not against doing any work at all, so if you want to enquire, hit me up on my contact form and I’ll see if I can work out something.

I’d also like to mention here about Hello Dolly, a WordPress articles site focusing on the content of our posts. I’ve not written any articles yet, but I’ve got a few ideas in the pipeline. If there’s anything WordPress related you’d like to see me write about over at HD or here, leave me a comment on this post and I’ll add it to my ideas list.

Other than that, there’s not much else to say really. I know it has been a long time since I published a blog post of substance here, but hopefully I’ll be able to change this in the coming year. I’ll also be posting a few WordPress plugins to show that I do actually know what I’m talking about and that I’m not just a vaporware producer.
