After my last post on how to reset your WordPress password manually, people have asked for the patch and the changed files for the bug in 2.5.1. I’ve grabbed these files straight from Trac, so they should work (hopefully ).

• Grab the patch
• Grab the changed files (zip)

Most users will want the changed files zip. To use this, extract the archive into your wordpress directory and upload wp-login.php and pluggable.php.

For users who wish to use the patch, I’ll assume you know how to do that

Yay! New blog!

I’ve migrated all the old posts and comments over, so everything should be seamless. Now, to just add tags… Done!

I coded this new theme from hand, with influence from CSS Tabs :: Adam Kalsey, as I personally couldn’t get the exact shape I wanted. Once I found that, I smashed it into little pieces and threw most of it away. One little bug is that asides can run into posts, if the posts are shorter than the mini-sidebar. In cases like this, the post should probably be an aside anyway.

Now, I just want to get a proper home page up, since I have a “groovy” idea for it

Here’s the situation:
I have a D-Link wireless card in my desktop and an Intel card in my laptop.
The problem:
Desktop disconnects constantly saying no wireless connection found. Laptop is connected with excellent strength 100 metres away.
The solution:
Take card out, run over it.

Anyone know of a good manufacturer who makes good wireless cards? I’m thinking of something like Belkin or Linksys.

I have changed my theme for Wordpress to DarkPad.
I like it.
I’m going to power the whole site on Wordpress because it’s nice and easy
